Ikono Telecomunicaciones, a TIC Americas 2009 winner, participated in a business road show in Santiago de Chile between the 14th and 17th of October. Ikono, which is associated with ParqueSoft Pereira, received support for their participation in the event from Proexport, the Foreign Trade Entity in Colombia.
The agenda included a seminar organized by Proexport with ProChile, International Economic Relations General Direction (DIRECON) of Chile and SOFOFA, with the intention of identifying commercial opportunities between Chile and Colombia. Ikono, along with other participating businesses, also had several business meetings on October 15th and 16th at Call Centers such as Entel, Prego, DTS, Nuevo Concepto, and others.

Ikono Telecomunicaciones puts special emphasis on developing new technology such as IP-PBX, Call Center, Contact Centers, and special telephone applications. Outside of the event, Ikono will visit potential clients and will assist in capacity building in the Chilean market.
Because of its innovative components and marketing potential, Ikono earned access to this international opportunity following a call for applications by Proexport. In addition, it is the only business that will be in Chile representing Pereira.
Among Ikono’s current customers are: Chevrolet Caminos, Zarpollo, UNE - Telefónica de Pereira, Calima Motor S.A., La Ofrenda S.A., Cadena de Droguerías 91-92, ParqueSoft Pereira and Multiaceros. Ikono Telecomunicaciones S.A. intends to establish a firm position in the international market.
