  • Acknowledgement of the universities who are the most active partners in TIC Americas 2008 and they will receive a special mention during the on-site stages of the program, along with a special certificate.

How to support a team participating from your university in TIC Americas 2008:

 
  • Finance winning teams from the university to attend and participate at the on-site Finals.
  • The costs include round-trip tickets from originating countries to Medellin, Colombia.
  • Identify mentors to assist team members by: answering questions, providing technical support, editing business plans, evaluating team presentations, and facilitating the networks necessary for long-term success of the project.
  • Organizing additional on-site training workshops conducted by university professors in the fields of business, marketing, finances, technology, and other related areas, which can support and improve the different parts of the businesses they create.      
  • Promote TIC Americas 2008 to the students attending the university      
  • Providing classrooms in the university for team work meetings
  • Access to computers in the university for team work meetings and participation in the competition.
