Young Entrepreneurs Receive Prizes from YABT/ OAS for Innovative Projects in TIC Americas 2010

The International community celebrates the entrepreneurial talents of the youth from the Americas, the Caribbean, Africa and Asia, with the presentation of prizes to twele teams whose projects are winners in the finals of the Eco - Challenge and Talent and Innovation Competition of the Americas (TIC Americas), previous to the XL General Assembly of the Organization of los American States (OAS).

TIC Americas is a competition of young entrepreneurs. The best and more sustainable small businesses are chosen and awarded with financial prices, training, mentoring, and other important tools to succeed in the business world. Since 2006, TIC Americas has built a portfolio of more than 3,200 business projects that involve over 9,000 young entrepreneurs from 42 countries

More than 1200 teams registered their business ideas in TIC Americas 2010, representing 36 countries from the Americas and abroad. Thirty two teams were selected to compete in the live Finals. In Jun 2010 TIC Americas was held in Lima, Peru, and a panel of experts selected the best projects
