What is TIC Americas?
The Talent and Innovation Challenges of the Americas (TIC Americas) of the Young Americas Business Trust (YABT) is a platform of opportunities for young entrepreneurs to create and grow their business ideas. The competition goes beyond the development of a business plan to include support, follow-up, with opportunities for international visibility, networking, and market access.
• Provides dynamic learning by promoting relationships, the exchange of experiences and challenges of self-improvement.
• Promotes and inspires innovation and improves planning and operation skills of new businesses. • Includes private sector participation as mentors, partners and sponsors.
• Combines science and technology with entrepreneurial skills training, monitoring and resources. • Increases the number of entrepreneurs creating jobs for themselves and others.
• Helps existing companies find innovative business solutions through the commitment of talented young people.
• Includes special competitions like the Eco-Challenge and National Competitions such as TIC El Salvador.

TIC Americas Awards include cash, incubation and internship opportunities, business promotion, and access to YABT networks. Awards are in the following categories: E-Business, Creative Design, Tradition and Culture, Spirit of Entrepreneurship, Social Entrepreneurship, New Markets, Environmental Conservation and Green Business.
